So, it looks like we can expect some extra cash in June. That's such a band-aid! I'd much rather know what will be done to boost the economy until June comes around, but I'll save that discussion for another time / forum.
In the meanwhile, here's a list of some things I could buy with the unforeseen rebate:
1) Wii for A.
2) 'Adopt An Acre' of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica
3) Canon's Rebel 10.1MP Digital SLR
4) Books on my wishlist
5) A 'limited edition' reprint of 'Ebbtide, Bodega Bay' by Micah Schwaberow
Or, better still, donate it to the American Cancer Society, Asha for Education, and National Multiple Sclerosis Society :)

I saw the Rebel XTi. I think the 40D is a much better bet... esp. if you own a good lens already.
Does everyone get a tax break? I thought not everyone does, maybe just the US citizens do ...
